The event also hosted the Primary Care Course one day event,the Primary Care Course is aimed at healthcare professionals wanting to learn the essentials of diabetes care. This course provided core resources, and helped to implement effective lifestyle advice crucial to the delivery of diabetes care for patients.

Creative Approach
Research can shed light on the unknown, bridging knowledge gaps, and transforming the practices of healthcare professionals. The visual identity of DUKPC 2023 not only emphasises the significance of this research but also recognises the efforts of all professionals involved and its potential benefits for everyone. The primary objective of the visual identity is to appeal to a broader audience and represent all healthcare professionals. This is achieved through a minimalistic, yet bold graphic style.
This year, the creative team was tasked with producing over 90 creative assets, encompassing online promotional materials for various channels to boost event registrations, as well as printed materials such as stands, signs, leaflets, vouchers, map and t-shirt designs for the 5k run event.
